Q: Where am I?
A: You are visiting secondhandglory.com, of course. The blog of Champions!
Q: What is this place?
A: secondhandglory.com is my personal weblog. I'm something of a geek, so a lot of
the stuff I blog is related to technology. I tend to have a stereotypical geek sense of humor and I will often share
stories or links which I find amusing. This is not to say that I will necessarily amuse you, but will I do my best.
Q: Why bother?
A: It pleases me. I may not be the best or the most popular, but I likely enjoy it more than
they do. Besides that, I get bored easily and this is a pleasant distraction.
Q: Why did you choose the name secondhandglory?
A: It was taken from the song Better Days by Citizen
King. The actual lyric is "bent like glass, second-hand like glory". Considering blogging is often little more than
putting a personal spin on things done by other people, I thought secondhandglory made sense.
Q: Can I steal links from your blog for my blog?
A: Certainly. I would appreciate it if you include a brief
credit and a link back to this site, but it's no biggie if you don't.
Q: Is secondhandglory your first site?
A: Nope. I ran a site called grayscale from 1997-2000 and a blog called
grayscape from 2000-2001. I've also done a few short-stories for personal narrative sites and designs for businesses
which you can find linked from my NewDream HQ site.
Q: Who are you?
A: I am the enchanting wizard of rhythm... er... I mean, I'm DinoNeil.
Q: Where did you get the name DinoNeil?
A: Originally I only used the name DinoNeil when posting to the
View Askew WWWboard. After a while though I
began to be known in other circles by that name. Eventually, it became an easy way to divide my life between on-line
and off-line. As you might have guessed, it is based upon the character Dinosaur Neil from The Tick.
Q: What does DinoNeil mean?
A: Let's ask Kabalarians, shall we?
Dino: Your name of Dino gives you a clever, logical mind, and you could do almost anything
you put your mind to. Because of your ability to analyze a situation or problem quickly, you could
develop a superior air towards those who are slower in their thinking. You have always taken your
responsibilities seriously and can be depended upon to do a good job. You are very independent and like
to make your own decisions without interference from others. You have the ability to provide quick
sound answers to the problems of others. This trait coupled with your desire to help could sometimes
cause you to be thought of as interfering. You are very self-confident and not inclined to lose your
head in a crisis. You are prone to take life too seriously and a weakness of this name is excessive
worry over problems and responsibilities.
Neil: While your name of Neil inclines you to be clever in technical skills where concentrated
effort and attention to detail are essential, it also creates a very intense nature without proper
expression for your creative ideas. There is a tendency to be over-exacting in matters that others
might consider of little importance, a fact which has been the cause of many irritations and bitter
experiences in your personal relationships with others. Indulgence in the heavier foods which are slow
to digest, coupled with extreme tension in the solar plexus, could cause stomach and intestinal trouble
of a serious nature. Although this name inclines you to be exceptionally clever and proficient along
technical or mathematical lines of endeavour, your health would be a problem and in later years you
could suffer severely.

Q: If you were a car, what kind of car would you be?
A: The kind you wouldn't dump your boyfriend in.
Q: Are you a member of any online groups?
A: I am a
NewDream Network member. I am a Rider Askew, (a mostly archaic destinction these days) which means I
have devoted entirely too much of my time to posting inane babble on the
View Askew WWWboard. Last but not least, I am a Friend of QRU.
Q: What happen ?
A: Someone set up us the bomb.
